Character history: Growing up, he was always the 'geek' brother. His older brother Josh was the cool one - the one that got all the girls and could do anything if he set his mind to it. Chris was talented in other ways. He picked up playing guitar at an early age and took more of an interest in a musical career than any self-esteemed profession, much to his father ( Greg's ) disappointment. His relationship with his father could be described as shaky at best, but his relationship with his brother was completely different. They couldn't have been more different, but Josh was extremely protective of his brother - even if he didn't always understand him. The two grew up close. Basketball was one of their favorite past times together, and they always had each other's backs, no matter what. Eventually Chris's desire to pursue a musical career and a huge blowout with his father sent he and his brother in separate directions. After that he kept in touch with Josh through letters, but his father decided that it was better that they no longer keep in contact. He was a bad influence on Josh, the 'perfect' son, and one day he stopped receiving letters from his brother. Assuming Josh had found better things to do, they lost contact - until he heard of their father's death and flew to Pine Valley in search of his brother.
